HerStory Untold
Miki Kong had always been regular, so when her period did not come, she did not think pregnancy. She thought something was wrong. Weeks became months, and fear filled the gaps. A blood test gave her numbers, but not clarity. Then brain fog and frozen shoulder made it impossible to ignore. What changed everything was not just information, but kindness, community, and learning to meet this transition with clarity, not panic.

HerStory Untold
When Vinti began experiencing brain fog, fatigue, and unexpected weight changes, she didn’t have the words to explain what was happening, even to herself. In this HerStory Untold: Midlife@Work feature, the EAP and mental wellness professional shares how she quietly rebuilt her routines to stay functional, what finally helped her connect the dots, and why workplaces need to offer practical, stigma-free support for women navigating midlife transitions.

Events
Midlife rarely arrives with a single, dramatic moment. More often, it comes quietly — a body that feels unfamiliar, a mind that feels busier, sleep that no longer “resets” you the way it used to. For some, it is the growing weight of caregiving responsibilities. For others, it is a question that lingers after a routine check-up: Is this normal? And in workplaces that still reward silence and stamina, many learn to cope by simply pushing through.
